Formed in 2009 by a group of female students (or recent grads) from Belmont University, the Groove Club is a one-of-a-kind collaborative with a mission to entertain preschool and early elementary age kids (and their families). The Groovers use their degrees in education, music and theater for a dynamic show that is as educational as it is entertaining. What started out as an informal band of friends wanting to bring music to young children, has quickly become a professional troupe of Nashville's most in-demand family entertainers! Members of the Groove Club have been named "Nashville's Best Kids Entertainers" and "Nashville's Best Birthday Party Entertainers" by Parent Magazine. Collectively, they have been nominated for three GRAMMY awards, eleven EMMY Awards and a "Songwriter of the Year" Award. Shows are designed to fit any budget...from neighborhood preschools to major music festivals. The Groove Club can appear as a solo, duo, trio or quartet. For additional fun, an adorable Elephant or Polar Bear are available as an add-on to entertain younger children.
